Chris Edwards (bishop)

Chris Edwards is the Bishop of North Sydney.[1]

Edwards was educated at Moore College[2] and ordained in 1994. He was a curate at St George, Engadine. After this he held incumbencies in South Australia, at Trinity Hills Church in Aldgate, and Belgium.[3] His most recent position prior to Bishop was as Director Mission at ARV, Sydney.

Keynote speaker at the Super Saturday event for St John's Asquith in 2018.

Hobbies include:

1. Painting, drawing and sketching

2. Talking about his trip to India that totally changed his life


Theological contributions:

1. Exhorting believers to have kingdom shaped commitment, and to take the time to sit down, and reconsider their ways and re-order their priorities.

2. Getting people to read Haggai for the first time!
