Chris Smith (born 16 January 1994) is an Australian professional rugby league footballer who currently plays for the Penrith Panthers in the National Rugby League. He plays at lock, second-row and prop.

Background

Born in Darwin, Northern Territory, Smith played his junior rugby league for the Nightcliff Dragons in the Northern Territory Rugby League, before being signed by the Penrith Panthers.[1]

Playing career

Early career

From 2012 to 2014, Smith played for the Penrith Panthers' NYC team.[2] In August 2012, he played for the Australian Schoolboys.[3]

2015

In 2015, Smith graduated on to the Panthers' New South Wales Cup team.[4] In Round 26 of the 2015 NRL season, he made his NRL debut for the Panthers against the Newcastle Knights.[5]
