Christoph Henkel (born February 1958) is a London-based German billionaire businessman.

Early life

Henkel's grandfather, Fritz Henkel, founded Henkel, a cleaning products company, in 1876.[1] His father, Konrad Henkel, took over the company and turned it into a global corporation.[1] Christoph Henkel was born in February 1958[2]

Career

Henkel inherited a £1 billion stake in the German chemical company Henkel shortly after his father's death in 1999.[1]

He is a co-founder and co-owner of Canyon Equity, headquartered in Larkspur, California.[1][3]

He is also the owner of a holiday resort in Colorado, USA.

He was the recipient of an Honorary Doctorate from the University of Düsseldorf in 2007.[1]

In April 2015, the Sunday Times estimated his net worth at £1.07 billion.[4]
