Chrystee Pharris (born March 7, 1976) is an American actress, best known for her role as Simone Russell on the NBC daytime soap opera, Passions.

Life and career

Pharris was born in Middletown, Ohio and attended the Emerson College in Boston, Massachusetts.[1] In 1990s, she began appearing on television sitcoms, The Steve Harvey Show, Sister, Sister, and Moesha, before landing the role of Simone Russell on the NBC daytime soap opera, Passions in 2000. Chrystee Pharris left Passions in 2006 in order to be able to pursue a singing career.

Pharris had a recurring role as Kylie, the girlfriend of Dr. Dorian (Zach Braff), on the NBC sitcom Scrubs in 2006. She guest starred on All of Us, Castle and Nashville. In 2015, Pharris began starring in the POP series, Queens of Drama.[2][3][4]
