Chthonerpeton perissodus is a species of amphibian in the Typhlonectidae family, endemic to Brazil. Its natural habitats are rivers, swamps, freshwater marshes, intermittent freshwater marshes, pastureland, irrigated land, seasonally flooded agricultural land, and canals and ditches.
