The Common shot silverline, Cigaritis ictis (sometimes as Aphnaeus ictis), is a species of lycaenid or blue butterfly.[1] It is native to India and Sri Lanka.[2] Sri Lankan population is classified as a subspecies - Aphnaeus ictis ceylonica (Felder, 1868).[3]
