Cindy Evelyne Magara is a Ugandan film director , lecturer and cinematographer[1][2]. She has served as a movie director in various films including Fate, Breaking the mesh[3][4]. She also served as a lecturer of Literature in English and Film studies at Makerere University[5].

Personal life

He was born in Kampala, Uganda.[6][7]

Career

She started filmmaking while she was a student at Makerere University in 2006. Her first movie as a Director was called “Fate” and it was premiered in 2006 at Sheraton Hotel[8][9]. She also served as a lecturer of Literature in English and Film studies at Makerere University and she is the founder of Nyati Motion Pictures a film production company[10][11][12]. In 2013, her Film ‘Windows Of Hope’ was selected in the 2013 Nepal Africa Film Festival and won the Best Ugandan Feature Film Award at Nile’s Diaspora International Film Festival 2012[13].
