Claudia Carroll (born c. 1969) is an Irish best selling author and an actress who has been a regular on the long running soap opera Fair City.

Life and work

Born in Dublin where she still lives, Carroll was educated in University College Dublin, the College of Music in Dublin and of the Gaiety School of Acting. She became best known as the character of Nicola Prendergast on the Irish TV soap Fair City. She worked in the role for fourteen years. While she was working Carroll was also writing her first novel in her dressing room. That book was published in 2004. Eventually she left the show in 2007 and focused on her writing although she has made guest appearances of her character.[1][2][3]
