Clay Martin

Clay Martin is a National Football League (NFL) official. He wears uniform number 19. He entered the league in the 2015 season as an umpire, and was promoted to referee for the 2018 season, following the retirements of Terry McAulay and Gene Steratore.[1]

Outside of his NFL duties, Martin works as a high school basketball coach in Jenks, Oklahoma.[1]

Martin's 2018 NFL officiating crew consists of umpire Fred Bryan, down judge Danny Short, line judge Kent Payne, field judge David Meslow, side judge Brad Freeman, and back judge Greg Wilson.[2]
