Coleophora taeniipennella is a moth of the Coleophoridae family. It is found in most of Europe.
The wingspan is 9–12 mm. Adults are on wing in June and July.[2]
The larvae feed on the seeds of Juncus articulatus, Juncus effusus, Juncus inflexus, Juncus subnodulosus, Juncus acutiflorus and Juncus conglomeratus. They form a case.
