Cuts for Luck and Scars for Freedom is the debut album by Mystic, released on June 19, 2001 through Good Vibe Recordings.

Featuring a combination of R&B, hip hop and Soul, Cuts for Luck was met with positive reviews and helped Mystic receive a BET award nomination for Best Female Hip-Hop Artist. Kludge magazine ranked it at number seven on their list of best albums of 2001.[4] The album did not perform well commercially, however, and to date she has yet to release a follow-up album. The album is now out of print.
