These are the official results of the Women's Individual Time Trial at the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta, Georgia. There were a total number of 25 participants, with one non-starter, in this inaugural Olympic event over 52 kilometres, held on Monday August 5, 1996. Russia's Zoulfia Zabirova surprised the dominant French by beating their favorite, Jeannie Longo-Ciprelli, in her quest for an Olympic double in the women's time trial in the 26 km solo test on the Buckhead Circuit.
