D.L. Lang is an American poet. The author of nine full-length books of poetry,[2] Lang serves as the Poet Laureate of Vallejo, California.[3][4]

Biography

Lang holds a Bachelor of Arts in Film Studies from the University of Oklahoma. Prior to publishing her poetry, Lang created documentary films, including Liquid Wind and The Hebrew Project.[1] Her poems have been published in the Benicia Herald,[5] The Jewish Journal of Greater Los Angeles,[6] A Poet’s Siddur: Friday Evening: Liturgy Through the Eyes of Poets,[7] the Benicia First Tuesday Poets anthology Light & Shadow[8] and the 2018 Marin Poetry Center Anthology. She currently serves as Poet Laureate of Vallejo, California.
