Damian Stachowicz (1658 in Sokołów Małopolski – 1699 in Łowicz) was a Polish composer. At the age of 16 he took vows in a Piarist monastery. Records tell only of his final transfer to Łowicz where he was professor of poetics and rhetoric.[1] [2]
