Daniel MacKay (born 19 April 2001) is a Scottish footballer who plays as a Winger for Inverness Caledonian Thistle in the Scottish Championship.[1]

Career

He made his first team debut in a friendly vs Nairn County F.C , coming on and scoring a well driven shot from 20 yards past the keeper, leading to praise from Inverness CT manager, John Robertson. MacKay made his professional first team debut and scored his first professional goal against Peterhead on 7 October 2017 in the Scottish Challenge Cup[1] and scored his first league goal in a 3–1 away loss to Falkirk.[2] He was assisted by fellow league debutant, Jack Brown. MacKay is the youngest player and goalscorer in the club's history,[3] at just 16 years and 174 days. He bagged his first hat-trick in a pre-season friendly vs Strathspey Thistle on 30 June 2018.
