Danko Radić (30 October 1952 – 13 February 2018) was a Croatian basketball referee, basketball coach and president of the Croatian Basketball Federation.[1]

Biography

He was born in Podorljak near Šibenik, Croatia in 1952.

He founded ŽKK Šibenik, whom he coached for many years. Later, he became a basketball referee. At first, he was referee in Yugoslav Second Basketball League and later Yugoslav First Basketball League. He refereed at the FIBA World Cups, FIBA Eurobaskets, Olympic Games and the Mediterranean Games.

He died at February 13, 2018 in Zagreb, after a long illness.
