"Dark Diamond" is a song by Elton John with lyrics by Bernie Taupin. It is the second track on his album Songs from the West Coast. Musically, the song is a mixture of blues, pop and R&B. Released in 2001, it stills gets airplay in Scandinavia and Continental Europe. It includes Stevie Wonder playing the harmonica, a reunion of John and Wonder since "That's What Friends Are For".
