David Gordon Alton (1846 – April 20, 1893) was a professional baseball umpire. Alston umpired four National Association games during his career; one game each in 1871 and 1872, and two in 1875.[1] He died in his hometown of Chicago, Illinois and is interred at Rosehill Cemetery.[1]
