David Delmar Edler (born August 5, 1956 in Sioux City, Iowa) is a former Major League Baseball player and former Mayor of Yakima, Washington. He is a current member of the Yakima City Council. Edler played third base for the Seattle Mariners from 1980-1983.

Edler attended Washington State University, where he played college baseball for the Cougars from 1976–1978.[1]
