David Cardoza
David Cardoza is a former chairman and director of Northampton Town Football Club. In November 2015, in the wake of an impending administration and winding-up petition before a court hearing on Friday 27 November 2015 he agreed to sell a controlling stake in the club to Kelvin Thomas and was arrested by police on 26 January 2016 investigating the loss of over £10m loaned to the club by the local council. He is accused, along with a North London cartel of businessmen, of stealing the money.

In 2005 Cardoza had instigated plans to expand Sixfields Stadium,[2] which will enable the capacity to double. He is the successor to Andrew Ellis and Ken Good as Chairman.[3]
