David Conklin (born September 22, 1955) is an American former ice sledge hockey player. He won medals with Team USA at the 2002 Winter Paralympics and 2006 Winter Paralympics. He also competed in the 1998 Winter Paeralympics.[1]. Dave also teaches and inspires. He lectures at the university level, and with his partner Carol Sims, works with the adaptive ski program at Alpine Meadows in California, and puts on sled hockey events for the Wounded Warrior program. He is also a very good golfer, but above all he is an inspiration to everyone around him.
