David Hilton is an American automobile designer currently based in Europe.

Hilton was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan. From 1991 until 2000, he was a designer and chief designer for Ford Motor Company in Detroit, England, Brazil, Japan and Germany. His most notable automotive contributions include the Ford Focus RS,[1] Ford S-MAX (2007 Car of the Year),[2] and Ford F-150. From 2000 to 2011[3][4][5] he ran the successful design firm Motorcity Europe,[6] where he created the design of the MCE MC1[7] as well as the Infiniti Emerg-e concept car. In the period 2012–2013 he was Head of Exterior Design for Bentley Motors in England,[8][9][10][11] being responsible for the Bentley GT3,[12] and the Bentley EXP 10 Speed 6 concept. Since May 2015, he is Senior Design Director at NEXTEV.[13] Hilton is also known for his automotive artwork and lecturing activities.[14][15][16]

In addition to his excellence in the automotive field, he also is a master of martial arts since childhood.
