David Pratt is a Canadian sports radio personality. Along with Don Taylor, he co-hosts the weekday afternoon talk show Pratt and Taylor on CKST AM ("The TEAM 1040") in Vancouver, British Columbia. A portion of the show is simulcast live on cable television channel Rogers Sportsnet Pacific. A trademark segment of Pratt and Taylor is "Pratt's Rant", a segment "borrowed" from Dennis Miller and heard daily at 4:00 pm Pacific Time, when Pratt riffs on a current issue in sports or sports-related politics. His leather pants and "confirmed bachelor" status are frequently recurring sources of light banter on the show. Pratt, prior to being fired for plagiarism, wrote a column in the Vancouver Province, which was published every Tuesday.

Pratt has a running feud with former Vancouver Canucks general manager Brian Burke that often finds its way on to the show. e.g. Whenever Brian Burke has a press conference of any kind, Pratt will spend at least fifteen minutes on his show dissecting and making fun of those interviews or making reference to them during a segment on the show called "Pratt's Rant".

A 30-year veteran of sports media, Pratt was formerly a correspondent and host of Last Call at sports cable channel TSN, and worked at Vancouver radio stations CKLG, CFUN, CHRX, CKWX and CFOX, as well as CFJC in Kamloops and CJAV in Port Alberni (where he began his broadcasting career as a DJ in 1974).

On June 3 2008, it was revealed by a reader that a recent sports column of Pratt's in the Vancouver Province contained at least two plagiarized lines from SI columnist Rick Reilly. He was subsequently released from his position with the Province, admitting that it was a dumb mistake and apologizing to Reilly for not quoting him as such. Although his statement claiming everyone plagiarizes everyone seemed to undermine this apology.
