Return of the Fishermen, tapestry by David Teniers III (Château de Cheverny)

David Teniers III (baptized 10 July 1638 – 2 October 1685) was a Flemish painter who was born in Antwerp, the son of David Teniers the Younger.

Teniers III married Anna Maria Bonnarens on 4 April 1671 and fathered five children. The eldest, David Teniers IV (1672–1731), appears to have been yet another painter in the dynasty. He moved to Brussels around 1675, where he died on 2 October 1685.

David Teniers III painted in the style of his more celebrated father.
