Dawn of the Dead is a 1978 board game published by Simulations Publications, Inc.

Gameplay

Dawn of the Dead is a game based on the 1978 film Dawn of the Dead involving four humans trapped in a shopping mall surrounded by zombies.[1]

Reception

Steve Jackson reviewed Dawn of the Dead in The Space Gamer No. 40.[1] Jackson commented that "On the whole, Dawn of the Dead would be worth the money to somebody who liked the movie. It also plays much better as a solitaire; in a two-player game, the zombie player will feel like a zombie himself before the game is over. If zombie movement had been slightly higher, or if normal zombies had been allowed to stack, it could have been more interesting and better balanced. As is ... pretty counters, but nice try."[1]
