Dean Lawford (born 9 May 1977) is a former rugby league footballer who played as a scrum-half. Born in Dewsbury, Lawford played for Sheffield Eagles, Leeds Rhinos, Bramley, Huddersfield Giants, Halifax, Batley Bulldogs, Widnes Vikings and Dewsbury Rams.

Lawford was signed by Sheffield Eagles from Dewsbury Moor in 1994. He transferred to Leeds Rhinos in December 1996.
