Dee Dawkins-Haigler (born 1970) is a politician from Georgia. A Democrat, she was a member of the Georgia House of Representatives representing the state's 91st district from 2009 until 2017.[1] Dawkins-Haigler did not seek re-election to the Georgia House of Representatives in 2016. Instead, she was a 2016 Democratic candidate for District 43 of the Georgia State Senate. She was defeated in the Democratic primary runoff.[2] Dawkins-Haigler ran for Georgia Secretary of State in 2018, but lost to John Barrow in the Primary.
Career
Dawkins-Haigler was elected to the Georgia General Assembly in 2008.
Controversy
In 2016, it was reported that Dawkins-Haigler’s campaign had $25,000 that was unaccounted for.[3]
