Delfina Pignatiello (born San Isidro, Buenos Aires, 19th April 2000) is an Argentine swimmer. She participated in the “Young Worldcup of Swimming” where she won two gold medals. She has also won the “Olimpia de Oro” award to the 2017's best sportswoman.[1][2]

Life

She began swimming at the age of 12. She participated in three worldcups, two of them were young competitions (2015, 2017) and another one was a senior competition (2016)[3] She made an argentine record on 800 meters, in 2016 FINA World Swimming Championships where she came in 6th place.[4]

She is a member of the “Argentina National Swimming Team” and in 2017 she participated on the “WorldCup Youth of Swimming” held in Indianapolis, USA, where she won two times, 800 and 1500 meters. She has also won a silver medal in 400 meters.[5]
