Denis Eadie

Denis Sheldon McGregor Eadie MC (12 February 1917 - 28 March 2015) was British Army officer of the Second World War who was awarded the Military Cross by Field Marshal Lord Wavell for his conduct during the relief of Kohima.[1][2][3]

He had stroked the Cambridge University crew in the Boat Race of 1938.[1]

In later life he was a member of the board of the Trustee Savings Bank.
