Dennis Barden

Dennis Barden is a mathematician at the University of Cambridge.[1] With Barry Mazur and John R. Stallings, he proved the s-cobordism theorem.[2] He also classified the simply connected compact 5-manifolds.[3]

Barden earned his Ph.D. from Cambridge in 1964 under the supervision of C. T. C. Wall.[4]
