Dennis Horner is a professional rugby league footballer of the 1950s, playing at club level for Wakefield Trinity, as a Hooker, i.e. number 9, during the era of contested scrums.

Dennis Horner played Hooker in Wakefield Trinity's 17-3 victory over Keighley in the 1951 Yorkshire Cup final during the 1951–52 season at Fartown Ground, Huddersfield on Saturday 27 October 1951.[1]
