Designasaurus is a series of two games created by Ezra Sidran and published by Britannica Software. The first game was released on the Amiga, Apple II, Apple IIgs, Commodore 64 and DOS systems, while the second game was only released on DOS.
Gameplay
The games are about creating a custom dinosaur and helping it to survive. The first game is divided into three activities consisting of "Walk-a-Dinosaur", "Build-a-Dinosaur" and "Print-a-Dinosaur".[2]
Development
Aided by two paleontologists, Britannica Software was able to accurately include dinosaurs in the correct time periods they once existed.[3]
