Dia Saba (Arabic: ضياء سبع, Hebrew: דיא סבע; born November 18, 1992), is an Arab-Israeli footballer for Israeli Premier League club Hapoel Be'er Sheva. Dia is the cousin of Ahmad Saba'a.[1][2][3]

Career

Saba began his career in the youth of Beitar Nes Tubruk. In summer 2011 moved to Maccabi Tel Aviv as part of the "youth revolution" of then-coach Motti Ivanir. But played only two appearances in four months in January 2012 was loaned to Hapoel Be'er Sheva until the end of the season. 21 January 2013 made his debut, uand scored a pair 2-0 victory over Hapoel Haifa, and helped the club to stay in the league, loaned again to half season. January 2013 moved to Bnei Sakhnin. He played 10 times, failing to score. Before 2013/2014 season signed to Maccabi Petah Tikva. The following season he signed a two year contract with Maccabi Netanya. He played in Netanya for 4 seasons, scoring 50 goals in 111 appearances in all club competitions, Including 24 league goals in the 2017/18 season.

On September 17, 2018 Saba returned to Be'er Sheva as Hapoel paid Maccabi Netanya a record transfer fee of €2,000,000.[4] Saba signed a 4 years contract with Be'er Sheva worth €1,600,000.[5]

On August 13, 2013 he made his debut at Israel U-21 against Belgium. On 8 September 2013 the goal of his debut, in the 7-2 win against Azerbaijan.
