Distant minor planet

The term distant minor planet is used by the International Astronomical Union's Minor Planet Center to refer collectively to those minor planets found in the outer Solar System that are not commonly thought of as "asteroids". Included are the populations centaurs, Neptune trojans, and trans-Neptunian objects.
