Dobrzyca [dɔˈbʐɨt͡sa] (Template:Lang-de)[1] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Szydłowo, within Piła County, Greater Poland Voivodeship, in west-central Poland.[2] It lies approximately 14 kilometres (9 mi) north-east of Szydłowo, 9 km (6 mi) north-east of Piła, and 92 km (57 mi) north of the regional capital Poznań.
Before 1772 the area was part of Kingdom of Poland, 1772-1945 Prussia and Germany. For more on its history, see Złotów County.
