Dominic "Dom" Sherwood (born February 6, 1990) is an English actor and model. He became known worldwide in May 2013, when it was announced that he would be the Christian Ozera character in the movie Vampire Academy: Blood Sister. Besides acting, Dominic Sherwood also sings and plays guitar.
Early life
Dominic Sherwood was born in Kent, South East England. He went to school at Oakwood Grammar in Maidstone. He studied Drama and Theatre Studies at school in Maidstone. He left to work abroad starting in Kenya and moving for six months before returning to London. There he began working in several plays before signing with an agency and getting work on TV and Film.[1] He is currently living in London.
Career
In 2010 he had his first recurring role in the third season of the series The Cut as Jack Simmons. In 2011, he appeared in an episode of the television series, Sadie J titled "Cherylistic" as Walter. In 2012 he appeared in the movie Not Fade Away as young Mick Jagger.
In 2013 Sherwood got his first notable role as Christian Ozera in the movie Vampire Academy: Blood Sisters based on the novel by Richelle Mead. He also had small roles in movies Stoned, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and Stormbreaker.[2]
