Created in [[1999]] as an intermediate station between the long-established [[Lincoln Fields Station (OC Transpo)|Lincoln Fields]] and [[Westboro Station (OC Transpo)|Westboro]] stations, Dominion Station consists of two bus shelters and a grade level crosswalk rather than a true station with platforms. It has no connections to local routes but is actually very close (225m) to the commercial strip on [[Richmond Road (Ottawa)|Richmond Road]] in [[Westboro, Ottawa|Westboro]] village and Westboro Beach. |

During the summer months, the westbound stop is closed from (9:00AM to 1:00PM) on Sundays due to the [[Alcatel]] Sunday Bike events in which the Parkway is closed westbound while cyclists are using the roadway. Buses travel on Richmond, Woodroffe and Carling instead. Eastbound service is not affected by the detour. |
