Double Ascension is an abstract sculpture, by Herbert Bayer. It is located at 515 South Flower Street, Los Angeles.

History

It was dedicated on January 20, 1973. The painted steel sculpture is 20 feet high and 30 feet in diameter.[1] Bayer was commissioned by ARCO, and he titled the work Stairway to Nowhere, but changed it at the request of company officials.[2]
