Nintendo World Championships: NES™ Edition is a action, platformer, party, and racing made by Nintendo and set to release on July 18, 2024. The game is based of the Nintendo World Championships, and will consist of 13 games and an unknown number of challenges. The game comes in 2 editions Nintendo World Championships: NES™ Edition, and Nintendo World Championships: NES™ Deluxe Edition. Deluxe edition comes with a decorative NES cartridge, posters for every game included, a physical copy of the game, and decorative pins.
Gameplay
[edit]The series' gameplay combines elements of speed and skill. The game is focused on getting the highest score possible on different on 13 different games. These games include Super Mario Bros., Super Mario Bros. 2, Super Mario Bros.: The Lost Levels, Super Mario Bros. 3, The Legend of Zelda, The Adventure of Link, Metroid, Donkey Kong, Kid Icarus, Ice Climber, Balloon Fight, Excitebike, and Kirby's Adventure.
After completing a level players are awarded coins based on their score (the less points you have the less coins you'll get) coins will allow you to get new challenges. The game has 2 game modes "Challenge your friends" or "Challenge yourself". If you "Challenge your friends" you can have up to 8 players compete on the same system compete in challenges. If you "Challenge yourself" then you'll play in a series of challenges from each game trying to get the highest score, there is also a ghost mode where you can compete against you're previous scores.
