Sri Veeralakshmi Temple is a Hindu temple located in Kaivanavayal, Peravurani, Thanjavur District. It is dedicated to the worship of Sri Veeralakshmi. The temple is known for its Tamil Saiva Temple architecture and is an important religious site for Hindus in the village and surroundings.

History[edit]

People in the surrounding worshipping Sri Veeralakshmi amman for around 300 Years, they prayed Sri Veeralakshmi amman on a Neem Tree, On 30th January 2022 the temple construction works started with funding of village devotees. 21st January 2024, Sri Veeralakshmi Temple Kumbhabhishekam held with the presence of Village devotees and the Peravurani Surrounding devotees.

Architecture[edit]

Pallava Architecture followed during the construction of the temple. This follows Tamil Saiva Temple Architectures followed in Tamil temples in South India.

Worship and Festivals[edit]

Maha Shivarathiri and Maasi Maham are celebrated here. Daily and Weekly Poojas done by local priest.

Importance[edit]

This temple held important for Hindu Worship by Village devotees and the Peravurani Surrounding devotees.
