The Dunas State Park Journalist Luiz Maria Alves (Portuguese: Parque Estadual das Dunas de Natal Jornalista Luiz Maria Alves[1]) is a considered the second largest[2] urban park in Brazil. The park is best known simply as "Parque das Dunas" (Dunes Park), or "Bosque dos Namorados" (Valentine's Woods), is a reserve of 1,172 hectares[3] of Atlantic Forest and dunes in the heart of the city of Natal, capital of the Brazilian state of Rio Grande do Norte in the Northeast Region of the country.
