Dylan Lane (born July 18, 1977)[1] is an American television game show host and actor. Lane was born in Tyrone, Pennsylvania and was raised in nearby Huntingdon. He graduated from Huntingdon Area High School in Huntingdon. Both his mother and his sister teach at the local high school, his mother as a substitute teacher and his sister as a physical education and health instructor, he is married to the high school's former ninth grade biology teacher.[citation needed]

Lane attended Muhlenberg College, majoring in philosophy and studying theatre, and currently resides in Astoria, New York.[2]

From 2006–2007, Lane hosted the game show Chain Reaction that airs on GSN. He is also the host of the National Vocabulary Championship, another production of GSN. Previously, Lane was a VJ on Fuse TV hosting The F-List and co-hosting Daily Download. He also had a recurring role as Justin Carter in the TV show What Goes On that aired on The N.

Most recently, Lane appeared on a season two episode of VH1's Tool Academy, in which he played the host in the "Party King" competition before the real competition started.
