Edward Percy Bottley (died 8 February 1980) was an English geologist and businessman. With his wife Winifred, Percy founded a geological dealership in Derby, England around 1928 which dealt largely in microscope slides. Bottley made 113 illustrations and in colour and black and white. Together with his wife he took over the London firm of Gregory's in the 1930s and built it up to international success supplying museums, universities and private collectors (including crowned heads and famous personalities) until his death in 1980. Winifred carried on for a short time until passing the business to Brian Lloyd. The firm of Gregory, Bottley and Lloyd continues to this day.
