Edificio Luis Cousiño is a building was design by Isidora Goyenechea in memorial of her husband Luis Cousiño Squella (1835 - 1873). This construction, located between Errazuriz Avenue and Blanco Street in Valparaíso, was holding of Lota & Coronel Carbon Company until the arrive of Petroleum Era to Chile. It was abandonated for many years, several establishment have was there without luck. In 1994, it was declared a National Monument by the Consejo de Monumentos Nacionales.[1]

At the present, this place is part of DUOC Educational Institute.
