The Eichstätt witch trials was a series of witch trials that took place in Eichstätt, Germany, between 1617 and 1630. They resulted in the execution of 167 people (141 women and 26 men), and were among the biggest witch trials in Germany. The trials were conducted under the approval of Prince Bishop Johann Christoph von Westerstetten.
