Eilema punctifera is a moth of the family Arctiidae. It is found in Sri Lanka.[1]

Description

Wingspan is 20mm. Fore wing with vein 9 stalked with veins 7 and 8. Fore wing with the outer margin of moderate length. Male lack secondary sexual characters on the fore wing. Head yellowish where thorax and fore wing uniform yellowish brown. There is a dark spot at end of cell in fore wings. Abdomen and hind wings are pale yellow in color. In female, body is bright yellow in color, where abdomen and hind wings are much paler.[2]
