''El Juramento'' was originally scheduled to debut in late February (just in time for the Sweeps) by the tittle of "El Engaño". It was delayed when the original Santiago, former soap star [[Fernando Carrillo]] was asked to leave the production by the producers and was replaced by [[Osvaldo Ríos]]. Co-star Gaby Espino decided to leave due to her pregnancy and [[Natalia Streignard]] took her place. Many scenes featuring Carrillo and Espino were already shot and must be re-filmed with the new stars and concept. The tittle also became repaced in order to adapt the story's new developements and any possible future legal worries. |
