Elephanz is a French pop rock indie band formed as a duo in January 2008 by the two brothers Jonathan and Maxime Verleysen originating from Nantes, France. Both are vocalists and musicians, with Jonathan playing guitar and Maxime keyboards. Two other contributing members are Thibaud Vanhooland on bass and Clement Plaza-Illand on drums were included turning it into a full band.[1] They are signed to Blackbird / Naïve Records label Yamani Dazi. Elephanz music is inspired by pop melodies from the 1960s and 1970s with a new spin.

The formation released the EP Ideal Roommates in 2010 followed by a full album in 2013 titled Time for a Change both charted in official French SNEP Chart.[2] The title track from the album was the formation's first charting single.
