(Mary Ann) Elizabeth Stephansen (10 March 1872, Bergen - 23 February 1961) was a Norwegian mathematician. She was the first Norwegian woman to receive a mathematics doctorate, which she obtained in 1902 from the University of Zurich. From 1906 until her retirement in 1937 she worked at the Agricultural College of Norway at Ås.[1]
