Sulawesi has a high degree of endemism in its bird species. Sulawesi supports twelve endemic bird genera.

NE = Not evaluated NT = Near threatened CR = Critical
DD = Data deficient VU = Vulnerable EW = Extinct in the wild
LC = Least concern EN = Endangered EX = Extinct
